Guest Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 Hi All, I'm after some inspiration! Our theme at the moment is 'Journeys' (linked in with KS1). We have talked about where the children would like to go on a journey and different sorts of transport. We have also started learning a lovely song called 'The Magic Travel Machine' (Singup). I have some large cardboard boxes to make one but I'm trying to think of an exciting way to get started! The children are very into superheroes so I was thinking about a letter from an imaginary superhero who can't fly any more and needs a way of getting around the world? He could ask the children to build him a machine which he could use at night and they could play with during the day??
