Guest
This morning, I turned on my laptop and thought I had gained an hour! My laptop time was an hour behind the BBC! This also happened to my ipod earlier this week too. When I chnaged the settings and timezone (was in the London category already though) I still had to change the clock by an hour. Anyway, I posted a reply on here and did a double take when it said it was 9 o'clock (but is really 10 am ). Anyone else finding the time anywhere an hour behind? Would be nice to have an extra hour though!
AnonyMouse_19762
Speaking as someone who often doesn't know what day of the week it is! no, I'm fairly sure it is actually !0:53 here!
AnonyMouse_29641
No, but my Facebook sometimes doesn't show some Profile Updates until the next day or longer and no one else seems to have that sort of problem. Must be a magnetism thing I reckon. Honey
AnonyMouse_73
Bluesheep, I wonder if this is because you haven't set up to do the daylight saving thing, and you've been an hour out since the clocks went forward. To change this in the forum, you need to go to 'my FSF page' and then scroll down the list of various options to 'board settings'. There is a box that says autocorrect DST? Make sure this box is ticked and then go to 'Change my account option' which is at the bottom. Does that do the trick? To keep my laptop always showing spot on correct time, I use this little thing called Dimension4, which updates my clock every half hour so I know its always correct. I'm pretty sure you can search for it as I don't know where I got it from, Ive had it years. I use it to set every other clock in my house. Guest
my laptop's got the right time but my mobile did that the other day and when I tried to change it back it told me off and said that it would have to turn off automatic daylight saving, then asked me if I'd traveled to another time zone!! Waiting to see what it does now next time the clocks change
Guest
Thank you all for your replies - just discovered my Google Mail is doing the same too and my ipod is now an hour ahead! Doesn't take much to confuse me though! Really strange though it's all happening today though - all was fine this week - must be because I was up early today! I've only had my lovely laptop a week and thought I had set it up ok but who knows!! Mundia - thank for the advice - will go and change now! missblinx - Funnily it's only my mobile which hasn't done it - yet!

Sue, I seriously considered not doing it coz it sounded so annoyed with me, I started to doubt myself and went round the house checking all the clocks in case the living room one was wrong coz my phone was so adamant that it was right! I had to remind myself that I am the boss!!
