Guest
Hi, I have been asked by OFSTED to produce a policy covering what action we would take on a possible allegation of child abuse on a member of staff? Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
Guest
Hi Jackie Welcome to the forum. This forms part of our child protection policy-a sub policy if you like. Do you have an area handbook for child protection? This should be something your local EYDCP has put together in conjunction with social services. I used the advice in that and adapted it for our policy. I can email a copy of ours if you like. Send me a personal message with your email address, don't post it on this thread for safety reasons. Either that or I could add an attachment on here for you if you like. Linda
Helen
I think Linda's idea is a good one; incorporating it into a broader Child Protection Policy is the best way as it avoids hundreds of separate policies.
AnonyMouse_2732
Hi, Ours is part of our Child Protection policy, too. Seems silly to clutter the place up with lots of inter-connected policies! Sue PS - Welcome!! Nearly missed that!! What sort of setting are you in?
