Hello its that time of year again reports....

I just wanted an expeienced EYFS teachers expertise....I am struggling to write the personal comment on the front of the reports for 2 children....as I have never had chn like this before and im sturggling to word it appropriately...

The first is a little boy....

he mixes with the children but prefers to play alone...

he is quiet at class time but when he has something to say to his teachers he will not leave them alone...

he is very serious...and a very literal thinker.....smile at jokes...

howver he is starting to he has OCD tendencies...in that he cannot fold paper it has to fit perfectly into an envelope and he can't use 2 pens to finish writing his name he has to use the exact pen...

when he is given a message from another teacher he wont stop until its carried out

he likes routine and if mum is not there to pick him up on a thursday he will get upset and agitated..

The second little girl...

cried for the first term starting school.....was excactly the same in nursery...and on occassions still gets upset coming into school in the morning...

has one close friend but if she is playing with someone else she will wander..

she walks on her tiptoes....plays with her hair and appears very anxious at times...

is shy when speaking in large groups..

like adult attention and company...

very tall girl and quite mature but sensitive and quiet..only on couple of occassions have I seen her rolling around and laughing which I love to see...............

How do I word this appropriately can someone help?

Please..

Thank you

Sarah
