Guest
Can anyone help. I am trying to find words to link with farm animals that describe how they move. So far got Horses - trot, canter, gallop Ducks - waddle Lambs - gambol, frolic Possibly could include Hedgehog - shuffle, Frogs - jump, hop. I have just hit a brick wall and am a bit brain dead today. Thanks.
AnonyMouse_33615
Don't know if it's just the walking side of movement you're after... Chickens: flap; scratch; peck. Pigs: root. Bulls: charge! Goats: butt. Any help?
AnonyMouse_79
If you've ever seen a hedgehog move, its not a shuffle. They can move very quickly, more like a dart!
Guest
Can I ask how much experience your children have of farm animals? Would they have seen them in the flesh to know how they move? Or have they enough experience from books? Only because if they don't know then they can't access the activity. PS I live in London, where not all children will have ever been to a farm.
