Hello everyone. I have decided to do a theme on buses and bus journeys and have only found three books. I know I should have thought of this before, but can anyone help? :o

Not books exactly but last year when we did Moving & Transport as a topic I found a nice website - Sunny Down Bus Company - can't remember correct address. But maybe that in google would work. I'll give it a try. It has on-line stories and games the children can use.

I remember a book called 'the bunk bed bus' by Frank Rodgers about a very artistic granny who does up a bus to enter an art competition. Possibly for Y1/Y2 but I think reception would enjoy it too. http://www.countrybookshop.co.uk/books/ind...tfor=014131561X

There are also the magic school bus series by Joanna Cole- good for a small more literate group - my son enjoyed it when he was 6 or so.

That's al;l I can think of at the moment.

Hi

Perhaps you could make your own stories about where children/ adults would like to go on a bus and what they would see/ hear/smell/ whose on the journey with them/ what they would take etc.
