What is everybodies policy on plasters - do you use a constent form?

ATM we ring parents if we want to use a plaster, but its timeconsuming. We already ask parents for allergies on entry.

We have a consent form for giving first aid and near the bottom it asks if parents are happy for plasters, waspeze, sun cream and savlon dry to be used.

We rarely use plasters but it's good to know if you can use them!

My goodness! Just went on first aid course and told to use tape and pad as it's less likely to come off and plasters not really good practice because of them falling off in setting. We have just taken plasters out of first aid box!

gwennie i think you may find that plasters should be part of your kit and should be on your kit list!
