Resources Need For The Stage

Hi!

Does anyone have a 'stage' area within their classroom/nursery?

I'd like to set up a 'stage' area at nursery (idea originated from fsf member continuous planning download!).

I am having problems locating a 'stage' spotlight and wondered if anyone uses such a thing and could advise me where to buy one. My budget is very limited so it needs to be fairly cheap. Ideally, I need something that could be attached to the wall on a bracket and plugged into a socket.

Any ideas?

I can't think of a way round the spotlight type lighting but for a cheap quick lighting alternative how about a string of battery operated lights?

Lots of them about!

I'd be interested in seeing any replies. At Christmas we borrowed a stage from the school and the children loved performing on it, both for our Nativity and in between. We improvised with my husbands spotlight from the garage, the type that clips onto a bonnet of a car for working on the engine. OK for a temporary solution but not permanently.

Clip on spot light

not sure if this is the sort of thing you want but we used a similar one at preschool for some activities that needed a light (shadow puppets was one ) .

Try a search for clip on spot lights and several came up..

Looks like just what I need! Thanks Inge :o
