Guest
Just wanted to share that Atlantic Data have a contract with the DfE and all early years CRB's for new staff will now be free through them. Existing staff renewal is I think £44. http://www.disclosurescrb.co.uk/earlyyears/index.html Everything about the crb is handled online and they have a 7 to 10 day turnaround. Sorry if this is old news, but I was so pleased
AnonyMouse_5970
Thanks Cupcake I do mine through TMG and although their checks for new staff are free, they charge £55 for existing staff, so that's a saving. Every penny counts for us at the moment Beehive

AnonyMouse_705
Are TMG still approved for CRB checks does anyone know or do they all have to be done through Altantic data now?
AnonyMouse_3139
I spoke to a man at Ofsted late last year about the online CRB and he told me committee have to be done through them. Anyone know why it would be different for staff? Or did I get the Ofsted response of the day?

AnonyMouse_22106
I spoke to Capita last week, they are still doing ours but as we have no internet connection at our Pre-School (village hall) we still have to use the paper version the turn around for this is still about 5-6 weeks!! AnonyMouse_13453
Oh crumbs. That'll be us too then. Do we have to stay with them or can I use this faster one?
