Guest
I am looking for child friendly digital cameras that are fairly robust, easy to use and download pictures from, and a reasonable price. Any suggestions?
AnonyMouse_4145
sony mavica cameras are very child friendly, this is a link to one page about them: http://www.wisemouse.com/viewitem.php?pid=...&catid=CA000031 ://http://www.wisemouse.com/viewitem.p...d=CA000031 , don't know if they are the cheapest, but they are very easy for children to use and are quite robust... You can either buy a memory stick, or just put a normal floppy disc into them...

Guest
hi you will find a previous disscussion here http://www.foundation-stage.info/forums/in...p?showtopic=313 32756 Thanks for the link. We currently use a mavica but I feel tht is a bit bulky and heavy for the children to use. I was thinking more in the lines of what someone mentionned in the link (ie. previous discussion) : A camera with plastic casing and handles for the children to hold at the sides. Does anyone know any more about these?
Guest
I am looking for child friendly digital cameras that are fairly robust, easy to use and download pictures from, and a reasonable price. Any suggestions? 32754 There is a very good digital camera for Foundation Stage called a Digital Blue Movie Maker. It can produce stills and also about four minutes of video. It is quite robust and children can use it very successfully. Every LA has at least three of these to borrow in the ICT boxes that were given out last term. I particularly like this one because it only costs about £75. I think it is available from TAG learning but not sure. I will check it out!
