Guest
Hi All Can you tell me do any of you highlight progress sheets. For example red for Autumn, Blue for Winter, etc. This gives an idea to see where the children are. Ofsted want us to know where our children are at each stage if they were to ask us. It is Development Matters from the Eyfs.Thank you Dorinda
AnonyMouse_30128
yes ...but we dont highlight them we write the observation in each colour for the development matters statements....so that red is xmas term green for spring and blue for the summer ...these create the 'structure' for our learning stories and are then suplemented with photos/speech/products etc..so its a one stop shop!! Guest
We do have a sheet which gives an overall view of where we think children are which we highlight in a different colour for the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. This reflects the children's learning journeys and observations and is related to the Development matters statements that we feel they have reached.
