Help! I've Got My Start Up Ofsted Inspection On Monday

Hey all, I've got my start up Ofsted inspection on Monday to decide whether I can start as a childminder! I'm terrified! :o

The woman was lovely on the phone but I'm scared I won't be able to answer all her questions. I've got the 'Are you ready for your Ofsted inspection' and filled in my answers. Can you have that document with you to jog your memory or does it look bad having it there do you think? :(

I'm rubbish when I'm put on the spot.

Any advice any of you have would be most welcome.

Sorry for the random post! xD

Thanks in advance for your help

Bless you!! firstly, relax!!!!

Mrs O wants you to pass - she'll be quite happy to see you referring to the Are you ready? document.

I used mine as a tick-list before my last 2 inspections. They had notes scribbled in the margins saying where the evidence for each thing could be found - i.e. training certificates in my Network folder, partnership with parents - cards/letters from parents in a folder. I put everything in an A-Z concertina folder... child record forms, contracts, permission slips for emergency medical treatment, etc.

I got Outstanding both times!

If your mind goes blank, tell her and she'll prompt you as to what she's looking for... honestly, you'll be fine!!

I look forward to your post on Monday telling us all about it :o
