I've just watched the 'Continuing the Learning Journey' DVD, there was a section on profile analysis using the 'e-profile'. It looked really useful, but we don't use the 'e-profile in our LEA!

Does anyone have any formats drawn up on Excel for example so that I could produce individual graphs, or graphs for each of the scales?

wow you have watched the dvd already! I am delivering training on this in Sept and feel that I now need to get a move on. I wrote all my reports into the pupil profile booklet. I have no experience of the eprofile so cannot help you. I know that other people have been using it and maybe they will help you. Any further comments on the document would be greatly appreciated.

Huh! just read your post more carefully!! Don't have a format but you would probably have to spread sheet it, so names down side, scores across page, toatls at bottom for averages? Then use averages for cohort graph?? something like that!!

Hi magenta

I have a very basic half complete version of such a spread sheet that I was working on when the epfrofile came into being. If you are up to completing it for your own needs then pm your email address and Ill froward it to you.

You don't have to use the E profile in an ongoing way- just google search and go on one of the links to download the e profile. Enter the data just as a summary / evaluation - if you want. You don't need to send it off if your authority don't use it, you can just use it for you.

I've written about this somewhere before but in Essex we have Foundation Stage Target Tracker which we use as an ongoing record of achievement. You can create graphs, reports and charts to your hearts content on this. It's good! You can find out more online on the Target Tracker website.
