AnonyMouse_2157
Have you thought about buying a natural colour border roll - the standard border rolls in most education supply catalogues do cream. We haven't the luxury of hessian boards so have covered all our boards in brown parcel paper. We use either metallic gold corrugated border roll or black to edge the boards. It has saved a lot of money on our nursery budget not having to buy lots of different coloured display paper too
AnonyMouse_705
We've got the hessian covered boards without any edging, hadn't thought to edge it.

Guest
hi we have recently backed our walls in hessian and it looks really good. we have put a coloured thin border around each board matching the different areas of learning e.g. blue for CLLD, green for Numbers and patterns etc. We have also backed any children's work or photographs in the same colour which brightens up the walls a little. These look really effective. Hope this helps! kate
