I [very] recently went on L3 H+S and they said 25+ !!!! ....... AnonyMouse_3735 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 It is statutory to have a first aider in every session, but I was never asked for First Aid at Work, the Paediatric one was sufficient. Guest Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 Under ofsted you only need a paediatric first aid trained person on site at all time but under health and safety you either need a EFAW or FAW depending on your risk assessment. Many years ago (and I do mean many, prior to Ofsted) we had two staff do a 6 or 10 week (not sure how many weeks then) first aid course to find out at the end of it, didn't cover paediatrics and wasn't accepted by Social Services!!
