Guest Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hi all School has just told us that they are going to be works done on the main room that school club use ie windows ceilings so we will not be able to use for one week. They are deciding which other classroom we can use. Do I have to tell OFSTED of this? Thanks
AnonyMouse_11396 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Yes I think you do and also your insurance company. As the room you are going to use will not be the one they will have inspected for registration.
AnonyMouse_19733 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Not sure, but I think it save in the EYFS that you don't have to tell Ofsted if it is less that 14 days; it might be worth a quick phone call though just to let them know and read the small print in your insurance policy, if its the same address it might be fine.
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 But if you use the phrase 'continuity of provision' and 'temporary' quite a lot, then you may not have a re-inspection!
AnonyMouse_19762 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hi marley Have been 'searching' my PC......I know that I had a copy of 'When to inform Odsted'......I'm so sorry I can't find it at all wonder if you could find it on their website......if not I have a 'hard copy' at work and (if I remember) I could have a look for you on Monday......
Guest Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hi Thanks all. Never thought about insurance company so thanks for that. Will call them and let them know. Think as you say better to be safe than sorry..especially as it would be our luck that they turn up that week!
