Guest lucyevans
Following consultation with existing members and research with early years workers, NCMA’s Board has decided that, in the coming year, NCMA should widen its membership to all frontline early years workers in nurseries and pre-schools. In doing this, the Board wants to position NCMA as the professional association for all individuals working in early years and childcare. The Board has decided to do this for a number of reasons, not least the fact that it believes welcoming other early years workers into NCMA membership will grow mutual understanding and increase recognition of existing members’ professionalism.
