AnonyMouse_2157
Hello all we are a maintained nursery class in an infant school. We currently offer the 2.5 day sessions to our parents but are thinking of offering the possibility of topping up to extend this to the full week. I would like to ask if any maintained nurseries out there already do this and how much you charge and more urgently for us the type of contract you have to ensure that parents pay on time/advance etc. I would be ever so grateful to see a copy if at all possible. This is the first time that we have done this and would welcome advice from more experienced settings already carrying this out. Plus any tips on how you manage those that don't pay on time. many thanks apple
Guest
We have maintained nursery in the morning and then private provision in the afternoon. We have been doing this for 4 years plus. This year though with the single funding formula it has allowed afternoon children to access morning places (to stay all day) whereas previously you had to take up a morning place to stay all day. We charge £7 per session which is on par with other local providers but less than the NEF per session Parents sign to say what extra sessions they want and know they pay regardless of whether their child is in or not. Payment is in advance or at the end of the week. We do not allow non payment. . . Parents are just stopped from attending extra sessions until bill paid. Feel free to email me if I can help at all!
