Guest
Hi all, Please can anyone tell me of a good sturdy tape player (with microphone) for children's use? Thanks
Steve
Hi Becky - Do you mean to give to children to experiment and play with, or something to play music on? ie the Fisher Price kind of robust play thing, or a 'proper' sound reproduction machine. <_>Regards, Steve. Helen
Hi Becky, I've had problems in the past with tape machines that are only meant for one small child's use, e.g. the ones you buy in ELC or toy shops....after all, they're not meant for eighteen pre-schoolers all pressing different buttons at the same time! I've gone through three such machines in four years, so now I'm saving up for one that I used to have when I was a primary school teacher. It is £109, available from GLS (www.glsed.co.uk) with 6 headphone sockets for group use, and built in microphone. Don't know if that's the kind of thing you had in mind? SueFinanceManager
Hi Becky I have a friend who is an opera singer and is very against children using microphones. She feels children should learn to project their voices without electronic aid. What do you think of that?
