AnonyMouse_5664 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Hello lovely people. Was wondering what ideas you had for doing something around the jubilee? So far have thought of obviously dressing in red white and blue, kings and queens, bringing picnic with parents. Possibly punch and July show. Bunting. ????
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) we're having a hat competition with tea on the lawn...grannies and grandpas invites, marquee for bad weather! Edited March 3, 2012 by finleysmaid
AnonyMouse_39602 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 we break up on the 25th may so may do something before like a tea party , the village has already formed a jubille committee with lots going on ,involving all the local groups but unfortunately as it is a long hloliday for school and preschool most of us are taking the opportunity to go away .
AnonyMouse_5664 Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 I am in a school nursery so we too will have broken up for half term do we are doing all our stuff the week before we break up. Trying to get a marching band to come and play during our picnic but it's proving very difficult as they all work in the day have just realised!
AnonyMouse_39602 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) you could create your own , lots of tins and wooden spoons or do any of the local schools have musicians or orchestra that could come and play ?? Edited March 3, 2012 by lashes2508
