Guest
HELP REQUIRED, I'm wanting to do some reports for the parents, but i think i'm over complicating them. Just want to update parents as to where their child is. How does everyone else do them? Thanks in advance
Guest
I don't do a report, as such, as I use a daily diary which details what they've been doing and any WOW moments are put in the Learning Journey's which are freely available. Each term I do a 'I am good at, I am working towards' target sheet and a summative assessment against they EYFS. Would that cover what you're looking for? Guest jane707
I used to do termly reports but the parents said it was too much so I do biannual ones now. I keep them really chatty - I start with what the child has particularly enjoyed here and then a few ideas to show how I've extended their learning. I normally try and note something they have told me from home. I always include a couple of photos. I then ask parents for their feedback. :1b
