AnonyMouse_5664
I know someone has posted about this before. Can you help? Are steamers any good for keeping carpets in nursery under control? We have ours cleaned at the end of each term but they get filthy in the meantime. Want to by a steamer so we can keep it under control until the end of term. What do you think? Which make do you recommend?
AnonyMouse_15046
I just bought one of these for home. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vax-V-124A-Upright-Carpet-Upholstery/dp/B000Y828JO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335609430&sr=8-1 It's been a godsend with a new puppy and leaves the carpet so dry you can walk on it immediately without your socks getting damp. It is quite heavy and noisy but worth it's weight in gold to me.
AnonyMouse_3735
steamers do not really clean, but refresh .. they are better for hard floors ad surfaces... I had a carpet cleaner similar to the one mentioned by Upsy Daisy, that did clean ..
AnonyMouse_19782
Steamer will deodourise as the steam is so hot, gets rid of bacteria etc. but will not ultimately clean your carpet
