Guest Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Im at home today updating policies - such fun ! Im totally stuck on a policy for staff taking meds and their fitness to work - can anyone help please .
Guest Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Are you thinking of things like - storing medication safely, away from children? - informing management if they take regular medication - Discussing 'fitness to work' when taking medication (especilly if there is a warning about not driving/ using tools when taking the medication) - perhaps a statement that management can ask the person not to work if they are unfit - having a care plan' for staff who have an ongoing condition (e.g. diabetes) so everyone knows what action to take if the person has an attack Edited May 8, 2012 by Gruffalo2
