Transition To 11 Schools!

Am I the only one feeding into so many primary schools this year? 11 different schools for 30 leavers, means 11 visits into 11 schools, 11 different schools visiting us, 11 different liasion routines, 11 different transfer form expectations, 11 different settling in systems and children disappearing of to 11 different stay and play schedules. Add to that 7 school entry plan meetings in 7 different schools ( and more to arrange), roll on end of July!

Hi ten schools for us with 43 leavers. :o

As part of aiding a smooth transition we initially have a transition meeting with the opportunity for all local schools, nurseries and pre-schools to come together as part of our cluster group.

Then individual schools can come and visit the children in the setting. For those children due to attend a school out of area we make contact to help with this too.
