AnonyMouse_39644 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hi all The Nursery I work in has 2 owners/managers one is Level 6 and one is Level 3, I think I have read somewhere or heard somewhere that all Managers need a certain level of qualification by 2015 but cannot now find anything to back this up. Am I right in thinking this or have I dreamt it?? Thanks
AnonyMouse_19802 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hi check out the Nutbrown Review thread...its all there!
AnonyMouse_8466 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 However remember that for now and until the Government decides which bits (if any) to implement, the Nutbrown review is still only a recommendation. The EYFS lays down what qualifications are required but other than the leader and deputy needing a level 3, with at least half the remaining staff being qualified, I can't recall anything specifically about managers needing a certain level. Unless anyone else can refresh my memory!
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 i think you'll find this this was going to be brought in but has now been dropped.
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Took to page 32 ...I think ! To find out about leadership qualifications and it says "still thinking about it" 1
