Guest lucyevans Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 http://www.communityplaythings.co.uk/resources/booklets/play-EYFS.html Guide showing how different types of play link to the revised EYFS. Should be useful for continuous provision plans.

Guest Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Thanks for sharing that link - I love the quotes, especially Einstein's in block play - "... ‘for knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world.’
AnonyMouse_2418 Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Thank you for that - it is a really good guide and nice and straightforward too , have saved it to share at staff meeting! 1
Guest Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 If you ring community playthings you can get this as a hard copy and it comes with a powerpoint CD which is very useful for explaining the importance of the different areas in the setting and their links to the new EYFS
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Was just going to post the same thing Max321!
