A small tweak - your use of the word 'both' could be taken to mean you have only 2 children, if you replace it with the word 'all' or just remove it altogether the sentence reads as you intend it to. AnonyMouse_7437 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 There isn't too much in the policies that u need to change its mainly child protection, safeguarding, health and safety. And a few policies will need tweaking here and there, but it didn't take me too long. If you on www.earlyyearsplanning.com you can buy a pack of policies and procedures for the new EYFS. When I went on a course, I heard that Ofsted do not like settings to use policies by the PLA as the setting hasn't come up with it themselves or amended them to make them suitable for their setting. AnonyMouse_13453 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 That's right jennac - I was advised to get rid of the colour bits in my policies as they shouted out that they weren't mine, even though they were adapted and adopted.
