What Resources For Out Of School Club

Recommended Posts

Posted

I've just got back from my holiday to find an email from our out of school co-ordinator telling me there is some funding for our new out of school club. I'm waiting to find out how much but she's suggested out door area, or IT stuff.

Can anyone suggest any good resources they have for their out of school children? The application form has to be back by Tuesday 28th and we have rather a busy week ahead of us getting the nursery ready for OFSTED's registration visit next week!

thanks :)

Our ASC has a different activity going on each day and then there's indoor or outdoor stuff for those not choosing those activites.

In the winter months it's the hardest because of the light outside, he cold and rain so we got laptops, DS's, a wii and some games forhem and they have been very popular. We also bought a mass of board games to have a games evening.

For outdoors we got footballs and nets, a giant noughts and crosses and some plastic hockey sticks.

We are lucky though we can borrow school PE equipment!

Nice to be offered money! Go spend!
