Guest Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Hello to other "special" colleagues!!! We are just about to start writing a policy on Children with Life Limiting Conditions ie how to inform staff if a child passes away, how to remember them in school, outside agencies which could help staff, children and parents etc etc. We have lots of ideas and thoughts, but just wondered if anyone out there had a policy in place whcih we could look at please. Will be more than happt to share ours when written. Thanks a lot xxxx
AnonyMouse_1999 Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I haven't got a policy for children with life limiting conditions but we have had a bereavement policy for a while now. It includes the death of a child attending the setting (or a sibling/parent) and also if a member of staff dies. I haven't got it on this PC and wont' be back at work until next week but wonder if it might be some sort of use to you?
