AnonyMouse_1999
My heart goes out to all involved but especialy the child's family. Bless her heart may she rest in peace.
AnonyMouse_8466
Such a tragedy for the little girl's family, my heart goes out to them. Also the staff in the setting will be understandably very shocked and in need of support in the wake of the investigations that will need to happen now. This is one of the things that used to keep me awake in the wee small hours - a child getting injured at my setting (or escaping). I really hope it was just a tragic accident that no-one could reasonably have foreseen. What a truly dreadful day.

AnonyMouse_3139
I hope others take a sensible approach to this and dont suddenly turn their outdoor areas into cotton wool padded safe areas though and I hope the rope was part of the equipment and not something left around.
