AnonyMouse_3139
We're currently advertising for someone to cover maternity leave and have received an application from a lady who has a Nursery Teachers Training Two years Diploma, gained at the National Council of Teachers Education in India. The only site I could find to check this qualification wants money! She also has CACHE level 1 (OCF?) possibly gained here this year.
AnonyMouse_19920
can you do it on the cwdc site ? x
AnonyMouse_30128
british qualifications can be checked on the cdwc website for suitablility ...but students should be providing you with certificates, if they do not have them they have to pay for a copy. Unfortunatley if you have to check other countries qualifications and they cannot provide you with evidence then you have to apply for a certificate which will cost £75 (the last time i checked) ...i cant remember the site (something like nasdac???) i'll check at work. I have a member of staff who has an indian qualification but has lost her certificate ...i have told her that if she wants me to recognise it she needs to provide evidence but she doesn't want to pay...so i just use her NVQ 3 certificate which we have and can check. AnonyMouse_3139
Thanks for the info, we've decided after looking at the application forms that she wont be coming to interview anyway, but I'll bear it in mind should we ever need to know in the future :1b
