Guest terrydoo73
Following on from another post, do any of you have a daily routine poster? I have no problems in getting pictures of the children playing both inside and out and during snack etc but how do I get one of them arriving and leaving every day? What sort of a picture could I use??
AnonyMouse_79
Get one of them to pose for you during your session?
AnonyMouse_19762
A 'visual timetable' - can be a very useful tool ....... as Susan suggested you could perhaps get one of your children to pose for the arrival/departure bit - perhaps taking off and putting on coat? :1b
AnonyMouse_11396
Hi we have a folder of A4 black and white photos displayed with text opposite each photo with a sentence like "We hang our coat and bag on the hook". "We find our name card and put it on the board"." We walk indoors". We just took shots of a child or children doing it through a session. Also great as a visual for reminding children of our pre-school rules like "the walking indoors one". We put it out each day in our book area, alongside other folders such as a family folder, songtime folder.
AnonyMouse_5970
We used our two puppets to 'pose' for our visual timetable. It means we don't have to keep redoing it when the children move on. The children love it, especially the one of a puppet sitting on the toilet!
