AnonyMouse_73
Hi Katherine, at this stage, I would just go with what you had already planned to do, and stick to your usual routine . If you would like to share what you were thinking of doing, members may help you make some small tweaks to is, but otherwise, rest this evening, have an early night and just be confident to be you. And good luck
AnonyMouse_11396
Hi sound advice from Mundia as always. Do what you normally would do, stay calm, try and get a good nights sleep, sending good luck wishes to you all from me. Not actually sure what's worse knowing there coming, or as in our case just arriving on our door.

AnonyMouse_26037
We had Ofsted last Thursday and Friday - heard Wednesday lunchtime (at least the others did - I was on a course and did pick up a message until about 3 o'clock!). I'd second what the others have said - don't change too much. I focused on things like making sure there were some notes on my CP enhancement planning sheet (I'm terrible for thinking things but not making a note of them), making sure the environment was up to scratch: tidy, properly resourced etc. and that I'd got indoor and outdoor activities for each area. You know your children and I think they (Ofsted) are going to be looking at how engaged they are, what progress they're making, how you're meeting their needs etc. If you're anything like me changing too much and trying to be too 'wow' will mean you're trying to remember everything and focusing less on what the children need. I'm collective worship co-ordinator and do a daily collective worship with my class rather than joining the whole school one and my head said the inspector may well want to see that so I made sure that was a 'proper' worship session too. Good luck, will be thinking of you! Edited October 23, 2012 by HelenD26
Guest ShelleyT
Ofsted are really interested in Social Moral Spiritual and Cultural development of the children, so maybe in your discussion time the children could do some paired discussion? Listening to the ideas of others is something they are keen on!
