Guest
Our school put together our own plans that combine RE and SEAL together. We use the themes from SEAL into RE topics,i.e New beginings - Creation, Getting on and Falling out - Jesus' friends and Going for Goals - Daniel believing in God. On top of this is the usual families, communities, celebrations etc (UTW bit)

Guest
The school I'm working in seem to do as Spotca does. However, I'm finding that it is difficult for the children to relate to in reception and I'm moving away from the SOW slightly anyway (with support of head!). For the next half term I'm doing lots on light and dark and linking this to different festivals and celebrations, with some reading of Bible and other religious stories sprinkled in. I'm hoping this will be more appropriate to the needs of the children and that it will engage them a little more.
Guest
Hey, I work in a catholic school so i have to follow the 'come and see' scheme of work. There's some help for planning and resources here http://comeandsee.cafod.org.uk/?p=2 - this does link with the come and see planning and is only a 4 week guide but i'm sure it'll give you some pointers.
