Guest Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Dear all of the 118 that have looked at the site - what were your thoughts - was it the hours - was it the location- ????????????????? Quote
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Hi ifyouarehappy, did look but just being nosey really to see where( hundreds of miles from me)! Would ask why level 4 or 6 ( not 5?) Quote
Guest Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Dear Part of the furniture, yes the level 5 too - according to some forums it states that managers should start from level 3 = as the job has more resposibilty involved I feel it shoud go to the more hightly qualified level 4 upwards it should say. Thank you for being honest - it just bugs me when people look but do not say anything - I suppose it is because I want the human aspect of the forum. Quote
AnonyMouse_39602 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 sorry I read and ran too - just being nosey - I'mn still trying to find a level 3 that has experience and not sure why we can't find one - think it may be because younger newly qualified want more hours than term time only and unfortunately they do not have enough experience - we found the perfect one who let us down 2 weeks before start of term - i started as Supervisor 1 year ago with a level 3 - we have readvertised for level 2/3 as may attract more experienced people who may not have committed to doing level 3 but are willing too - fingers crossed 1 Quote
Guest Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 thank you for being honest - I had the same problem - interviewed - everone was happy however a day before the begining of term said she changed her mind - all the effort to make sure the crb was in place etc etc do people want to work. Quote
AnonyMouse_38881 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Too far away! Hope you find the right person! Quote
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Far too far for me too, snowy Cumbria is a bit of a commute! 1 Quote
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I think you're right lashes about the younger staff wanting more hours than term time only. 1 Quote
Guest Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Would be perfect for me part time, term time, good rates of pay(if they are good IMO) I have a FD and am doing EYP! I'd apply but the commute from the north west but be a little tricky It's MY ideal job though if that helps :1b Quote
Guest Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I'm sure commuting more hours than i'm working could prove to be a problem and now with Autumn and all those leaves on the track to delay trains Quote
Guest Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Perfect for me too I used to love in SW13 but now live in the more affordable Northamptonshire so just a little too far to commute :1b Quote
AnonyMouse_41997 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 good luck with your search for a manager. if you ever step up in northern ireland i'll be on your doorstep in a flash ::1a Quote
Guest Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Perhaps we can set up a nursery up there! Quote
AnonyMouse_11396 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Sorry was just being nosey too. Already a manager out of London, certainly wouldn't like to do the commute again I'm afraid, getting too old for that. Good luck with your search. Quote
