AnonyMouse_1999 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Hi, please bear with me having a 'fond mum' moment. My baby (30 years!!) returns home tomorrow after six months travelling in Thailand and Australia and I am rather excited! Just wanted to share... Sue xx FANTASTIC and thank you for sharing your excitement. I know how you feel, a few years back I posted about my tearful trips to Heathrow when my 'baby' went to Australis I was a bit of a wreck on departure day and was a bit of a wreck ( nicely!) when he came back many months later. Pat on the back time for you, your 'baby' was only able to travel the world due to having such a lovely mum, someone said to me our job is to give our children wings and then they fly and I think there is something in that statement. Bet you can't wait for tomorrow - enjoy every second ::1a 2 Quote
AnonyMouse_1469 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Fabulous hope he hasn't been saving up his dirty washing for you!! Quote
AnonyMouse_2732 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Well, he's home! No dirty washing - well not much, as he wore everything out and didn't take much anyway! So lovely to see him and his girlfriend ::1a 4 Quote
AnonyMouse_19762 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Pleased to hear he is home safe and sound! :1b Quote
AnonyMouse_2732 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Promise, this is my last here - thank you all for being so kind It has been soooo fantastic today, listening to his enormously loud music as he sorted stuff... and now he's wandering around with one of his many guitars trying to remember songs he wrote on Bingle Beach (not sure of spelling there!) and elsewhere. Just to hear him wandering around with his guitar is enough to make me cry......... Thank you lovely people xx 2 Quote
