Guest Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for a lesson observation in numeracy. I have a reception / year 1 class. For the first time some of the year 1s are more able than in previous years. I am looking for fun activities when adding 10 more both practically and with a 100 square. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 make a snakes and ladders game? with hundred square for board. i used one from google images, and then drew on a lot of letter L's (for ladder). then if they land on a L, they go up 10! so they need to work out where they get to. so don't draw on ladders! no snakes makes it easier as quicker and no one gets upset at going down!!!!!!!! x
