Guest Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 sorry this is a bit of a late addition to the discussion. i had a problem last year whereby it was snowing and we wanted to go to the local park sledging, one parent expressed a concern that it was too cold , i found this a vey difficult situation to deal with as i felt it wasnt fair on the other children who were excited about doing this.i am of the mind that if they are wrapped up there is no harm , i did persuade the parent but i could tell she wasnt happy about it. as for the use of hairdryers, i am an experienced childminder of 23 years standing, my setting is a home and as such i would never act any differently to the things i have done with my own children, this would include the use of hairdryers .
