Goldilocks and the three bears

Hi everyone.

 

About to start our next 'talk for writing' topic on Goldilocks. Have done this story previously with the usual activities of making porridge, writing sorry letters, making story maps, role play cottage etc.

Just wondered if anyone has any new ideas or things that have worked well on this topic?

Have a look at a book called MR Wolf and Three Bears. Might give you some extra ideas.

we've had different sized bowls and spoons in the sand tray which is filled with porridge oats and put compare bears in and seen where it goes...........

We have just done a series of Freeze frames in groups and then the children have written speech bubbles . I am also planning on mixing it with We re going on a bear hunt.

My parallel class are doing Goldilocks and they have been writing the instructions for making the porridge.

'A chair for baby bear' was the basis for Dt work making a chair
