AnonyMouse_2127
How about Grandpas Handkerchief? It has lovely bright pictures. The story goes through Grandpas week. On Monday he uses his yellow hanky to wave to the trains, on Tuesday he uses his white hanky for bandaging a knee, each day of the week he uses a different colour hanky for something. It's by Dorothy Clark. Is there one called The Big Red Bus Ride? Elmer, of course, Green Eggs and Ham and The Mixed Up Chameleon - just a few I thought of, hope it helps a bit. Guest
There's one called Anna's Amazing Multicoloured Glasses I think. That was really lovely, with a different colour on each day.

AnonyMouse_2760
Christina Rossetti's poem - What is Pink? Is lovely and is great to use as a writing frame for children's own ideas and poem. I have used it really successfully with Year R, Year 1 and Year2 even to Year 5 and had some fab poems and illustrations. Made a great display too but unfortunately havent got any pics.
