Continuous provision theory anyone

Hello everyone,

I have been searching on uni website for some theory relating to continuous provision and learning envirnoments and getting nowhere fast. Could any of you let me know of any texts or articles which discuss how continuous provision or learning environments promote development. Can anyone tell me where the statement 'you need to have sand and water out everyday' comes from, I dont disagree with it I just want some justification

Good question/ post Vicky. I for one do not know why there is an unwritten understanding that sand and water has to be out everyday and I look forward to the answer......
