AnonyMouse_1469 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Heard a whisper today which has filtered down through an 'official' source, that FE funding is to be cut by 5% in our area from April. More pressure on us and i'd really like to know how the hell 'they' think we can keep providing all that we do at this rate?? and we have heard nothing officially, so how do we set our budget for the coming year?
AnonyMouse_8282 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Ours has gone up by around 10p an hour this year, and they've actually told us now. Last year they did a bit of dirty trick by making us sign the contracts before they told us the rate!! [no rise].
AnonyMouse_11653 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I'm in Essex and we have already been told ours is staying the same as last year! Kris

That is seriously bad news....... haven't had any info here yet - really, really hoping ours is not cut - not sure if we could 'survive'
AnonyMouse_9650 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Not cutting here on the south coast but a smoke and mirrors approach means that quality supplement has been reduced and the difference moved to "increase" the base rate - as everyone was getting the quality supplement it just means that yet again rates are staying the same even though costs are increasing.
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Must be same area as you suej, I was thinking losing the quality supplement would leave us out of pocket but working out last terms funding claim with the new format we would have got approx 1000.00 more
