Guest
Just wondering if anyone can help what maths schemes (if any) do you use for Reception. Our Head would like us to use a scheme with maths books! Thanks

Guest
Was on a course recently and someone mentioned 'little big maths -clic', can anyone explain. Feel we need daily input like phonics a 20 minute session a day. I would appreciate it if someone shared some planning with me. Eagerly waiting a response
AnonyMouse_13789
We use Hamilton Trust plans and think they are really good.
AnonyMouse_4562
In Reception classes, do you tend to follow a scheme in terms of what to teach and in what order or do you still pick out what the children need to learn next and use the scheme to support this? With maths, I mean?

With maths, I mean?I use Hamilton to ensure coverage but don't always do it in the order they suggest as we respond to what the children need.
