Guest
Hi being observed on Capacity- first session. Worried about the independent activities and differentiation beteween the 3 groups. Really would like to let the children explore and have fun first session but don't think this will go down well! Any ideas would be great. Thanks. AnonyMouse_19782
I am pre school so this probably won't be of any help but as it is their first go and you want a little fun element - we use lots of differently shaped bottles in a deep builders tray and coloured water in jugs and they Tip and pour from one bottle to another make guesses about what will fit or spill over I think you could perhaps extend that for your class, we never used a balloon but that might be fun!! Forgot to say we have turkey boasters pipettes sponges in there funnels too sponges are good because we can measure how much they can soak up or how many squeezes to empty them. Dare you have small water pistols - how many squirts etc. Edited May 1, 2013 by Panders
