Guest Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 (edited) Does anyone use Phonics Bug in nursery? If so, how and what do you think of it? x Edited May 11, 2013 by Guest
AnonyMouse_4869 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I use Phonics bug in reception, the children love the games. We use it as a resource rather than a 'scheme'. Didn't even realise there was a nursery version!

Didn't even realise there was a nursery version! There isn't a nursery version, but the literacy co-ordinator thinks I'll be able to use it; we have had a quick demo and I'm sure I could make use of some of the aspects as a resource.
Guest Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 are you introducing GPCs in nursery then? Yes, I am - though I am being guided by the children and it is in no way formal! I do not 'cover' sets of grapheme/sounds each week.
AnonyMouse_4869 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 In that case then it is a great resource and the children will love it!
