Guest Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Hello, I have been hearing good things about the book 'Singing Phonics' for a while now and have just ordered myself a copy. I was wondering if anyone has been using this for a while and if they could share with me which songs/lesson they have found particularly effective? Any ideas welcome! Thank you
Guest Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Can't help, sorry - but will be watching with interest, as I've never heard of 'Singing Phonics' - what is it, by the way?

Guest LornaW Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Written by Cath Birt & Helen McGregor and ALL. Of the songs are wonderful, children love them and there are ideas on how to develop phonics into CI time! Brilliant books! For those of you new to it take a look here http://www.kenttrustweb.org.uk/UserFiles/ASK8/File/Early_Years/Training_Development/Letters_Sounds/Songs_for_Phase_One_training.doc LornaW
AnonyMouse_4562 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Hi, Yes I own and use this book alongside other phonics activities. The children do love the songs and as LornaW says, there are ideas for extensions and CI ideas if you fancy. Enjoy x
