Guest Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I have a 2 year old who was able to thread buttons on to string, what prime area does this come under please? Kind regards Claire
AnonyMouse_35585 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I put it under physical development- show control in holding and using objects and equipment or something like that :1b
AnonyMouse_19762 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Yep - for sure it's Physical Development: Moving and Handling Can get lots more from threading i.e. Develop the ability to use hands together (bi-lateral) in a lead assisted fashion............Develop in-hand manipulation skills.........and so on and so on...... Do you have a copy of Development Matters?
Guest Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Thank you! No I don't have a copy of that, where can I get it from? Many thanks Claire x
