Guest
I am trying to find out if there is a minimum legal requirements for spacing between beds when children nap. Can anyone help? Please.
AnonyMouse_5970
A long time ago, we were told 30cm. I don't think there's anything in the EYFS about it but I haven't looked. We now use bunk cots so we can fit two children into the space of one cot. We have bought them one at a time over a period of time as they are expensive but we now find them invaluable and it does free up space.
AnonyMouse_2186
I am currently taking part in the ECERS training and it does suggest that beds need to be a certain distance (not sure what as book is at work) however this is a safe distance to prevent airborne disease spreading.
