Steve
Hi all - As I've mentioned a few times recently, we'll be updating the FSF website quite radically over the next two to three weeks (the forum area will be very little affected just to put your minds at rest). One thing we wanted to do was replace the photographs on the front page (you know, the ones that change each time you visit the front page) and would very much like to use photographs that members have submitted. After the upgrade it will be possible to add photographs to a gallery album, which will then appear on the front page. However, initially we'll need to post some photos ourselves. It would be great if any of you who have photos you wouldn't mind seeing on the front page could send them to me (email or PM). Obviously any which contain the faces of children will need to have consent from parents for them to appear on the internet, although there won't be any personally identifying information accompanying them. AnonyMouse_8466
What a brilliant idea: a great way to make our community more reflective of the people and settings within it. I hope lots of parents will give permission for photos of their lovely children to be included. :1b
AnonyMouse_35585
What did you want photos of Steve? The children playing or of the actual setting?
Steve
Anything that reflects early years settings I think. It's always nice to have photos of children enjoying themselves, and that's what we have currently (if anyone wants to remind themselves of what we currently have, just go to the front page and keep clicking the refresh button - eventually they'll all pass in front of your eyes). But if there are good photos of setting areas showing something interesting then I'd be very happy to put these up. What we'd like to do eventually is have albums for different occasions, with for example Christmas, or Children in Need photos. That would keep things nice and fresh and reflect the interests of members. :1b
AnonyMouse_3139
How old are the children in those photos now?
Steve
Hah - some of them are coming up to leaving secondary school! They are all photos from Helen's nursery in the olden days. I still see them around and remind their parents that they're cropping up regularly, but I have to look up to some of them!

Guest sn0wdr0p
Ooh I can't wait to show you our children from our OOS club yesterday. I took them to see Smurfs 2 and they all made hats out of wadding fabric and we used blue face paint. and actually made pretty good smurfs out of them. They all made up their own smurf name as well and made a badge with it on and a self portrait. Motorists faces as they drove past my minibus were a picture in themselves. Great film- all the children from 3 -11 loved it. It was a smurfilicious day.
