AnonyMouse_1469
Ok, today, ladies ( and gentlemen!!), is 'check your bits' day. As some of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer some while ago. Today, is my magical 5 years mark, so I hope to now be shot of the little beastie. BUT,I am still going to be here to remind you of the importance of checking, and getting to know your own body. Got a lump?? get it checked! got a swelling that won't go away?? Nipple discharge, nipple turning in?? Sore/swollen testicles?? Blood in your poo?? ANYTHING that is odd, or worrying, or just simply wasn't there a while ago?? Get it checked. Don't put it off...........don't say, or think you'll give it a few more days, because chances are you will keep putting it off. Best of all though, set aside a few minutes each month to check those important bits: breast and testicles ( they may not be on the same person!!.......but you could help the person you love to check theirs!) Ok, ok, you get the message, you know it makes sense, so DO it. 1st of the month, second, or a day that means you will remember........check your bits. Here endeth the lesson.............and if you get the chance, please make a small donation to your nearest Macmillan coffee morning event this week. Macmillan nurses and the wonderful NHS have been there for me, every day, they scooped this jibbering wreck up on day 1 and will be there for me the rest of my life if I want them to be. Please give if you can. xxxxxx

AnonyMouse_13453
I'm with you! Checked in the bath last night! A friend and I both chopped over 12 inches off our hair last week for cancer wigs too, following the sudden death of her mum from breast cancer.
